I'm never sure what to write in this space. How much do people really want to know from the "About Me" link.
I’ve lived in New England my entire life; really can’t picture living anywhere else. Though I do love to travel to warmer climes, I’m not inclined to live in them full-time. I’ve been married for nearly 30 years (goodness that's really true!) to my college sweetheart, The Oracle. We were never blessed with our own children, but we do live vicariously thru the children - both human and furry - of our friends and family.
The hubby and I both work for the same Fortune 100 company in corporate america. All things considered, it’s not bad. It affords us the luxuries that make life good. We are both musicians - he on the accordion and saxophone, me on the piano.
I consider myself an artist - photography, jewelry-making and music. These are the things that bring calm to my life, especially when I feel like I'm in the eye of a storm.
I had a total hip replacement of my right hip at the age of 45 in February 2009; I had my left hip replaced in September 2012. I lived a life filled with pain for 20 years prior to the surgery from Congenital Hip Dysplasia. My life since my surgeries has been one filled with joyous moments as The Oracle and I rediscover a live lived without limits.
