I'm never sure what to write in this space. How much do people really want to know from the "About Me" link.
I’ve lived in New England my entire life; really can’t picture living anywhere else. Though I do love to travel to warmer climes, I’m not inclined to live in them full-time. I’ve been married for 30 years (goodness that's really true!) to my college sweetheart, The Oracle. We were never blessed with our own children, but we do live vicariously thru the children - both human and furry - of our friends and family.
The Oracle and I both work for the same Fortune 100 company in corporate america. All things considered, it’s not bad. It affords us the luxuries that make life good. We are both musicians - he on the accordion and saxophone, me on the piano.
I consider myself an artist - photography, jewelry-making and music. These are the things that bring calm to my life, especially when I feel like I'm in the eye of a storm.
In April 2011, after 15 years in a spiritual wilderness, I converted to Catholicism - joining The Oracle in the faith of his birth. Raised a Christian I left the faith of my birth to wander aimlessly - yet as the saying goes, all who wander are not lost. God was leading me along, though I was unaware of it, waiting patiently for me to finally hear his beautiful voice guiding me. My conversion surprised me greatly and the rewards have been countless and breathtaking.
I had a total hip replacement of my right hip at the age of 45 in February 2009; I had my left hip replaced in September 2012. I lived a life filled with pain for 20 years prior to the surgery from Congenital Hip Dysplasia. My life since my surgeries has been one filled with joyous moments as The Oracle and I rediscover a life lived without limits.
